Medical Trust Hospital, a 700-bed multi-specialty acute-cum-critical care referral hospital, is one of the hospitals in South India.

Since inception in 1973, the Hospital has come a long way with over 1,000 workers, comprising doctors/surgeons and support staff, and facilities. Providing patient-centered treatment and care, 24/7 support and services.

Founded by Dr. P. A. Verghese.

The hospital runs training in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Paramedical Sciences and Radiological Techniques. Planning to commence MBBS in the new campus in Irumbanam,Kochi -Medical Trust Institute of Medical Sciences

College of Physiotherapy-Medical Trust Institute of Medical Sciences Bachelor of Physiotherapy course commenced on 2005.Currently the 4 1/2 yr BPT Course is affiliated to KUHAS.Presently,Mr.Sreekumaran P is the Principal of the college.The Institute is planning to start MPT courses in the current future.
