Steven Vincent Reed (born March 11, 1965 in Los Angeles, California) is a relief pitcher in Major League Baseball who is currently a free agent. He went to Lewis-Clark State College. A submarine-style pitcher, Reed has played for numerous baseball teams, including the Colorado Rockies, Cleveland Indians, Atlanta Braves, to whom he was traded with along with fellow relief pitcher Steve Karsay from Cleveland for former Major League Pitcher John Rocker in 2001, the New York Mets, San Diego Padres, and the San Francisco Giants. His career stats as of May 18, 2006 are:49 W, 44 L, 3.63 ERA, 18 S, 630 K's, 285 BB, in 833 games (870 innings).
