Yap Soon-Yeong

Yap Soon-Yeong

Master Yap Soon-Yeong, or Sifu, is a healer and meditation teacher based in Penang, Malaysia. He is the founder of a system of qigong and meditation called Chaoyi Fanhuan Qigong, or CFQ for short. His remarkable healing record is chronicled in "Tao of Healing: The Incredible Golden Light Energy " by Dr. Chok Hiew. He has been healing and teaching professionally since March 1989.

Sifu learned traditional herbal healing from his family and has studied acupoint message and traditional Chinese medicine. He holds a Third Dan Black Belt in Japanese Karate and previously was an instructor of Praying Mantis Chinese Kung Fu. Interestingly, he is also a fully qualified accountant.

CFQ differs from most qigong systems in that there is absolutely no building and storing energy. In CFQ the aim is to release, let go, flush down and relax. CFQ is very popular in Malaysia, Canada, Spain and England, and is gradually becoming better known worldwide.

Along with Dr. Hiew, Master Yap has written several books, including "Energy Medicine in CFQ Healing: Healing the Body, Transforming Consciousness", "True Stories of Qigong Healing: CFQ as Meridian Therapy and "Dynamics of Qigong Healing". These books may be purchased through Amazon.com as well as from other sources.
