Jose A. Rodriguez, Jr. was the
Director of the National Clandestine Service (D/NCS) of theUnited States Central Intelligence Agency . Born in Puerto Rico in 1948, Rodriguez attended the
University of Florida , earning both a bachelor's and law degree. He joined the C.I.A. in 1976 and served an officer under the Directorate of Operations in the Latin America division, assigned to work in countries ranging from Peru to Belize. Over time he was promoted toChief of Station (COS) in Panama, Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
