Pedro Alexandre dos Santos Barbosa (born 6 August 1970 in Gondomar), pron. IPA2|'pedɾu bɐɾ'bɔzɐ, is a former Portuguese professional football player and manager.

An attacking midfielder with above average technical skills, Barbosa first came to prominence playing for Vitória de Guimarães, joining Sporting Clube de Portugal in 1995-96, where he spent ten seasons.

After retiring, he became Sporting's football director.

Barbosa won 22 caps for the Portugal national team and scored 5 goals, from 1992 to 2002. He represented the nation at Euro 1996 and 2002 FIFA World Cup.
