[ [http://www.ccw.vic.edu.au/ Catholic College Wodonga ] ]Catholic College is divided into four houses Egan (yellow), Flynn (green), Augustine (blue) and McAuley (red). The primary function of the houses is as teams in intra school sporting competitions. These are primarily athletics and swimming. Catholic College also competes in a number of inter-school competitions.
Students start the day in their home base. Home bases contain students from a single house and across a variety of years. The objective of the homebase is to encourage friendships across year levels, and announce relevant school news. Each home base is named according to group name and number. eg f2 = Flynn 2 or m7 = McAuley 7. Each home base is co-ordinated by a teacher who is the primary contact for students in their group regarding school or administrative issues. They also provide the students with academic references.
There are many famed past students including Anthony Evans and Australian Rules Footballers (both ironically to play for the Saint Kilda Saints) Fraser Gehrig and Ben McEvoy. High performers, in all disciplines, at Catholic College are recognised in the annual Expo. The school also achieves consistently good results in the VCE, with a number of students obtaining marks over 90, such as Jessica Monaghan in 2007.
