Canada Packers

Canada Packers was the largest meat packing and meat processing company in Canada, located in Ontario. It is now part of Maple Leaf Foods through a merger with Maple Leaf Mills.

In 1927 it was formed by a merger of the Harris Abbatoir Company, Gunns Limited and the William Davies Company. In 1975 it was listed as the fourteenth largest company in Canada. [http://www.lib.uwo.ca/business/200TopCompanies.html]
