Paul Mulshine is a nationally syndicated conservative opinion columnist for "
The Star-Ledger " inNew Jersey .He began his journalism career working for the Medium, a controversial student entertainment and satire newspaper at Livingston College, at
Rutgers University . In 1975 he took his first professional job as a reporter for the "Ocean County Observer " inToms River, New Jersey , where he grew up.He later worked as city editor of the "Delaware County Daily Times" in suburban Philadelphia and as a copy editor for the "
Philadelphia Daily News ", where he won numerous awards for headline writing. After some years doing magazine writing, he came to the Star-Ledger in 1995, where he remains today.Mulshine is married to former journalist and current teacher Andrea Getek (a.k.a. Andi Mulshine). They met while working at the "Delaware County Daily Times". The couple has two daughters, Molly Clare (b. Dec. 29, 1987) and Casey Rose (b. Dec. 20, 1991). Mulshine and his family currently live in
