Peduel ( _he. פדואל), is an
Israeli settlement located on the western edge of the centralSamaria n region of theWest Bank , about 25 km east ofTel Aviv . The town, under the administrative municipal government of theShomron Regional Council , is adjacent toAlei Zahav andBruchin . The Shilo Stream passes to the south, and theShilo Stream Nature Preserve borders Peduel on the north and west.History
Founded in 1984 on state lands by a group of Orthodox
Jewish Israeli s fromYeshivat Har Etzion inAlon Shvut with help from Amana, theyishuv is now home to about 155 families. The town is named afterPedahel , son ofAmmihud , a prince of theTribe of Naphtali .Education
There are many institutions located on the settlement: a nursery, three
kindergarten s, anelementary school , a talmud torah, and the combined pre-army andhesder Eretz Hatzvi yeshiva .External links
