Yanderra Rural Fire Brigade
Yanderra Rural Fire Brigade provides fire protection to its jurisdiction of the township of Yanderra ("cited NSWRFS boundary map"). The area it covers is the smallest of any brigade in the Wollondilly Shire. The most recent milestone of Yanderra Brigade is the new latrine. Little is known to the outside world, but the funds were acquired as a donation from the sale of the Yanderra Town Hall. These funds were used to buy the Royal Flush, rumored to include a bidet. The privet is the talk of the brigade, but the captain has refused to use it, debating that the hole out back is still half empty, an argument that other members claim it's half full.
Alternate responsibilities of Yanderra Brigade are to provide supporting roles for Buxton, Bargo, Wilton and Yerinbool Rural Fire Brigades. These roles include topping up water tanks, catering, spiritual heeling and massages. Because of these services, Yanderra is in the process of becoming a support brigade for the shire.
