The Saskatchewan Transportation Company (STC) is a Crown Corporation of the Government of Saskatchewan, created in 1946 by an Order-in-Council.

It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Crown Investments Corporation Of Saskatchewan, [ [http://www.cicorp.sk.ca/cicholdings/crowncorps/stc.html Crown Corporations: Saskatchewan Transportation Company] ] with a mandate to provide bus services carrying people and freight between major centres and to as much of the rural population as possible.

Facilities

STC owns and operates bus depots in Regina, Saskatoon, and Prince Albert, [ [http://www.stcbus.com/Locations/l_home.aspx STC Locations: Depots] ] and has numerous agencies in communities throughout the province. STC also serves as the agent for Greyhound at many of its locations. Maintenance services are located in Saskatoon and Regina. Fleet

STC maintains a fleet of 38 coaches and vans, varying in size from 55-seater coaches to 15-seater vans, as well as a freight trucks and freight trailers.
