According to its website [http://www.apposchooldistrict.com/] , Appoquinimink School District is the fastest growing school district in Delaware.
*Everett Meredith Middle School is a middle school in Middletown, Delaware. [http://www.mmscrusaders.com] It carries a population of over 1,000 students in grades 6 through 8. This school was formerly a high school but then was reopened as a middle school. And is now one of the best schools in the district. This district covers a large number of towns, including Odessa, Middletown, and Townsend. A recent addition to the district is the Alfred G. Waters Middle School, located behind Ceder Lane Elementary. This new addition is currently being used as a 9th grade academy, until the new Appoquinimink High School is finished.
