HMAS Nepal (G25)

HMAS "Nepal" (G25/D14) was an N-class destroyer laid down as "Norseman" by John I. Thornycroft and Company at Woolston, Hampshire on 9 September 1939, launched on 4 December 1941 and commissioned as "Nepal" on 29 May 1942.

She was manned by Australians and commissioned in the Royal Australian Navy but remained the property of the British Government. During her Australian service, "Nepal" was part of the British Eastern Fleet from July 1942 until March 1945, and with the British Pacific Fleet.

"Nepal" reverted to the Royal Navy on 22 October 1945.
