subdivision = "Lycorhinus angustidens""Lycorhinus angustidens" is a heterodontosaurid
ornithischia ndinosaur hailing from theEarly Jurassic strata of theEliot Formation located in theCape Province ,South Africa . The fossil remains consist in dentaries andmaxilla e hence the characters mentioned by the name that Haughton attributed to them in 1924, where thegeneric name means "wolf snout", as it was at first misidentified as acynodont , and thespecific descriptor means "constricted teeth"."Lycorhinus", including the remains described by Gow in 1975 as "Lanasaurus ", is a small herbivore dinosaur despite long canines it sported in its jaws; due to this unique characteristic "L. angustidens" is very clearly allied to "Heterodontosaurus ".References
