country music format and, according to theArbitron ratings service, is the most popular radio FM station in Western New York and the second-most popular radio station in western New York, behind WBEN. WYRK is a largely local operation, with the only known syndicated program on the station being "American Country Countdown ". It is currently owned byRegent Communications .WYRK began streaming its programming on the Internet in November 2006.
