Jerzy Semkow (born 1928 in Radomsko Poland) is a Polish conductor. He has served as music director of the Saint Louis Symphony, principal conductor of the Royal Danish Opera and the Royal Danish Orchestra in Copenhagen, Music Advisor and Principal Conductor of the Rochester Philharmonic, Music Director of the Orchestra of Radio-Televisione Italiana (RAI) in Rome, and Artistic Director of the National Opera in Warsaw.
He has lectured on music at the University of Colorado and conducted master classes at Yale University and New York's Manhattan School of Music.
He is a French citizen and resides in Paris.
