- Kichadi
Kichadi is a
Keralite dish (south India ) made ofcurd andcucumber in raw or cooked form. Kichadi is often served as part of theSadhya .Recipe
Method 1
Kerala style
"Ingredients"
*
Cucumber - 1 medium size
*Green chile s - 4
**Mustard
**Coconut grated - 1/2 cup
*Curd - 1 small cup
*Coconut oil
**dry chillies
**curry leaves
*Salt - to taste"Preparation"
*Cut Cucumber into small pieces and cook in salt and water.
*GrindGreen chile s, Mustard, andCoconut and add to cucumber.
*Cook for 5 minutes and then add Curd.
*Low the fire and keep on stirring until it is just about to boil.
*Remove from the flame.
*Season it with dry chillies, mustard and curry leaves.Sorry, this is Pachadi NOT Kichadi!!
