"Nepenthes carunculata" (pronEng|nəˈpɛnθiːz kəɹʌŋkjuːlɑːtə, from Latin: "caruncula", diminutive of "caro" = flesh; referring to appendage on seeds) is a highland "Nepenthes" pitcher plant species, native to Sumatra. It is very similar to "N. bongso" and there is much debate about whether the two should be treated as separate species.

"N. carunculata" has no known natural hybrids, although several species are known to hybridise with "N. bongso".

"N. carunculata" var. "robusta" is an extreme variety of this species with a large, flared peristome.
