Career
Renato starts his soccer career in Santa Catarina playing at Marcílio Dias and Joinville.
In 2000, he moved away to São Paulo and played in União São João de Araras.
A year later, Renato was transferred to Guarani.
Because of his great performances he was bought by "Corinthians" where he won some titles, such as Torneio Rio-São Paulo, Copa do Brasil and Campeonato Paulista.
Renato was considered a great footballer during his time at ""Flamengo"" between 2005 and 2007.
Renato was the Flamengo's top scorer in 2005 and 2006. It was during 2006 he again won the Copa do Brasil, against ""Vasco da Gama"".
In 2007, Renato continues playing well and winning championships. He went on to win the Taça Guanabara and Campeonato Carioca.
But in
July 10 2007 , Flamengo announced his transfer to ""Al-Nasr"", a club in the UAE.Renato is still currently at Al-Nasr.Honours
