KWKT channel 44 and KYLE channel 28 are Fox affiliates in Central Texas. KWKT serves Waco, and KYLE serves Bryan and College Station.

Programming on both stations are identical, except for idents and local ads. Besides local news programming, the 2 stations carry Fox News reports when necessary.

KWKT broadcasts on cable 14 in its respective part of the market, while KYLE broadcasts on cable 7 in its part as well.

The stations also carry a secondary MyNetworkTV affiliation; prime-time MNTV programming is aired on a delay, generally following Fox's programming at 9 PM. Prior to the merger of The WB and UPN into The CW (carried locally by KWTX-TV and KBTX-TV), KWKT / KYLE carried WB programs after 9PM.

Both stations have been the only ones in their market to have aired cartoons daily, but the daily Fox Kids and Kids' WB blocks were discontinued, the daily Fox Kids block in 2001 and the daily Kids' WB block in 2005. Both stations were also among several to air the weekend 4Kids TV and Kids' WB blocks until 2006. But while 4Kids TV is still seen on KWKT and KYLE, Kids' WB's successor, The CW4Kids, is now seen on the digital subchannels on KWTX and KBTX.

On January 28, 2008, KWKT premiered "Fox News Central Texas" at 9 PM. The pre-taped newscast is produced by sister station KFXK in Longview, Texas.
