"The Fireclown" (also known as "The Winds of Limbo") is the fourth science fiction novel written by Michael Moorcock, published by Compact in 1965. [cite web|url=http://www.eclipse.co.uk/sweetdespise/moorcock/bib/|title=Bibliography of works by Michael Moorcock|accessdate=2006-04-18|author=Ian Davey] The novel is based in a future where the majority of the human population live underground. The political climate is unstable, and the recurring character of The Fireclown begins to stir up strife.

The character of The Fireclown is also featured in the novel "The Transformation of Miss Mavis Ming" (also known as "A Messiah at the End of Time").
