Harold Wood ,United Kingdom . He received a degree inEconomics from theUniversity of Buckingham and further law degrees from Buckingham andKing's College London . He was called to the bar by theInner Temple and is a qualified Barrister and is a Company Director. The Conservatives took control of Brentwood Borough Council in May 2004 following 12 years of Liberal Democrat control. Lewis was elected Leader of the Council on
June 23 2004 . He was re-elected to the Council in the May 2006 local elections and continued as Council Leader, increasing the Conservative majority from 5 to 17 in that election.
