Reid Lamberty

Reid Lamberty (b. 1973) is an anchor at WNYW (Fox 5), in New York City. There, he anchors Fox 5 News at 5 AM and Good Day New York First Edition with Karen Hepp. Previously he was a weekend anchor for WNYW-TV.

Reid started at a cable network in Trenton, WXZN-TV. Right before coming to WNYW, Reid Lamberty was a weekend anchor and Long Island reporter for WCBS-TV (CBS 2), the flagship station of CBS Television Network. He joined WCBS-TV in 2003 as the Long Island reporter and in 2004, began co-anchoring CBS 2 News Saturday and Sunday morning. Then in 2006, he became co-anchor of the weekend editions of CBS 2 News at 6 and 11. Before joining CBS 2, he worked at WFXT-TV in Boston, MA where he was an anchor and reporter for three years.

In August 2007, Reid was granted the opportunity of a trial basis, where he co-hosts the weekday anchorage of "Good Day New York Wakeup" from 5am-6am and "Fox 5 Live" at 11am with Christina Park. If the trial runs successfully, Lamberty and Park would have been permanent co-anchors of Fox 5 News at 5 AM and "Fox 5 Live". His slot on the weekends has not been filled yet. Lamberty grew up in Hightstown, New Jersey.
