"Free Flying Soul" is the tenth release, and eighth full-length studio album, by Christian alternative rock band The Choir, released in 1996. It earned the band its first Dove Award win in 1997.

* Dan Michaels does not actually appear on the album at all, except to play a lyricon part on "Salamander".
* Tim Chandler is credited with writing one word of the lyrics to "Leprechaun" ("chlorophyll"). Wayne Everett is credited with writing a few words of the lyrics to "The Warbler".
* "The Chicken" begins and ends with excerpts (performed very unmelodically, particularly at the end) of an old hymn, "Love Lifted Me".
