Target Video

Target Video

This San Francisco-based studio, run by [http://www.stevenwolffinearts.com/dynamic/artist_bio.asp?artistid=222 Joe Rees] , archived early punk and hardcore bands such as Black Flag, Flipper, and Crucifix in the late 1970's to the early 1980's. Using multiple VHS cameras, they produced some of the highest quality footage available of these bands performing in front of live audiences. In addition, videos often included interviews with members of the bands.

Target Video was located at 678 South Van Ness Ave. in San Francisco. This building suffered extensive damage in the Loma Prieta earthquake of 1989.
