There he finished in 21st position in the 200m Individual Medley, and in eighth place with the Men's 4x200m Freestyle Relay Team.[1] Ward also participated in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.[1] After finishing his career as a swimmer he has now taken up the position of Head Coach at Scarborough Swim Club.
