Greek Senate election, 1932

In 1932 elections took place for the renewal of the 1/3 (30) of the members of the Senate and resulted in an ambivalent result for the two biggest parties, the Liberal Party of Eleftherios Venizelos and the People's Party.

The Liberal Party elected more senators, but it lost a large percentage of its electorate. Most importantly, in the general legislative elections of 1932, which took place simultaneously, the People's Party was the first party as far as the popular vote is concerned.

These were the last elections taking place in the modern history of Greece for the Senate. In 1935 the institution was abolished.
