Chernyakhovsky District (Russian: Черняхо́вский райо́н) is a district (raion) of Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia. The district's administrative center is the town of Chernyakhovsk, the third largest town in the oblast. District's population: 51,947 (2010 Census preliminary results);[1] 57,521 (2002 Census);[2] 12,806 (1989 Census).[3]

The district is situated in the central part of the oblast. The main railway line from Kaliningrad to Moscow passes through the district; there are two more railway lines from Chernyakhovsk to Zheleznodorozhny and from Chernyakhovsk to Sovetsk. The main road from Kaliningrad to Moscow via Lithuania also passes through the district.
