Jusuf Wanandi

Jusuf Wanandi (born "Liem Bian Kie", zh-cp|c=林基綿|p=Lín Jīmián) was born in Sawahlunto, West Sumatra, on November 15, 1937. He is the brother of Sofjan Wanandi.

Education

After finishing his junior high school study in Padang, he moved to Jakarta to enter Kanisius High School. Later, he entered the Faculty of Law of Universitas Indonesia and graduated in 1960.

He used to teach in Kanisius High School, his own almamater, and became lecturer assistant in Universitas Indonesia.

Career

Since 1984 he held the governor position of East West Centre in Hawaii.

He also had a political career in Golongan Karya (Golkar Party). He held the position of vice general secretary.
