Sanmu, Chiba

nihongo|Sanmu|山武市|Sanmu-shi is a city located in Sanbu District, Chiba, Japan. It was formed on March 27, 2006 by the merger of the municipalities of Sanbu, Naruto, Hasunuma and Matsuo.

Note that the city name (Sanmu) is pronounced differently from the town name (Sanbu) even though they are written with the same Japanese characters.
