Spier (coord|52|49|N|6|28|E|type:city(91)) is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Midden-Drenthe, and lies about 11 km north of Hoogeveen.

In 2001, the town of Spier had 91 inhabitants.
