George Elcoat (1863 – "?") was an English football manager.

Elcoat was from Stockton-on-Tees, but later moved south to London. He became manager of Woolwich Arsenal in April 1898 following Thomas Mitchell's resignation the previous month. Elcoat's tenure was quite short, lasting only ten months. In that time he oversaw Arsenal securing fifth place in the Second Division in 1897-98. The following season Arsenal were humiliated 6-0 by First Division Derby County in the FA Cup which played a major part in him resigning from the club in February 1899.
