Greasbrough is a suburb of Rotherham, in South Yorkshire, England.

Greasbrough has 2,038 inhabitants and 2,270 acres of land belonging to Earl FitzWilliam. It is located two miles north of Rotherham and includes the neighbouring hamlets of Bassinthwaite, Ginhouse, Cinder Bridge, Nether Haugh, and part of Parkgate [http://www.rotherhamweb.co.uk/district/gbrough.htm About Greasbrough, Rotherham, South Yorkshire ] ]

Greasbrough has a gothic-style church called St. Mary, which was completed in 1828. A school is attached to the church. There are also Wesleyan and Independent chapels, also with attached schools.
