Popular culture
The Cyprus Mail makes a brief appearance in the James Bond film The World Is Not Enough, when Bond is scanning information relating to the kidnapping of Electra King. Among the information he views is a Cyprus Mail front page carrying the story of her escape. This was specially mocked-up for the film.[citation needed]
