The Federation of International Trade Associations (FITA) based in Reston, Virginia, USA, was founded in 1984. It fosters international trade by strengthening the role of associations in the United States, Mexico and Canada.
FITA's website, the International Trade / Import-Export Portal is the largest source of free information and resources for international traders on the Internet. Among the resources are links to more than 8000 international trade related Web sites (including more than 400 trade lead sites), Really Useful Sites for International Trade Professionals, a bi-weekly newsletter with tips on useful Web sites, articles about international trade and markets, the Global Trade Shop, a calendar of international trade fairs and much more.
