The Dunphy Show

The Dunphy Show

"The Dunphy Show", presented by Eamon Dunphy, was a chat show which ran on TV3 in Ireland from September to December 2003. The show was broadcast live from The Helix Theatre at Dublin City University between 21.00 and 23.00 on Friday nights, in direct competition with RTÉ's "The Late Late Show". In spite of receiving viewing figures of 300,000 and several high profile guests, the show was axed after twelve episodes, the last being broadcast on 12 December, 2003.

The opening instrumental of "I Fought the Law" by The Clash was the theme tune. Dunphy referenced this at the end of the last episode, saying to the camera "I fought the law, and the law won."
