Rachel Simon (born
1959 in Newark,New Jersey ) is an American writer of both fiction and non-fiction. She graduated fromBryn Mawr College in1981 , and published her first book, a collection of short stories, in1990 . She followed this with a novel, a self-help book for writers, and a memoir. In addition to writing, Simon has worked as television analyst, abelly dancer , an artist's model, an events coordinator for a bookstore, and a creative writing teacher.Books
