Travel Media Association of Canada

MISSION STATEMENT: "TMAC, the premier travel media association in Canada, brings together travel media and tourism industry members to foster excellence, uphold ethical standards, and promote professional development."

Founded in 1994 by Isobel Warren, a long-standing Canadian travel journalist and author, TMAC currently has about 500 members (40% media, 60% industry).

To qualify for membership, media members must re-qualify for membership every two years by providing evidence of their published or broadcast works.
