Colcom is a meat producer and processor in Zimbabwe, southern Africa.
The company was established in 1944 as a farmers' co-operative, Colcom Central Co-Operative Ltd, for the slaughter of pigs and production of pork products. The imposition of international sanctions against Rhodesia in the 1960s enabled Colcom to become the country's largest producer of meat products. In 2002 the company began diversifying into beef production in an effort to compete with the Zimbabwean parastatal Cold Storage Company. Colcom supplies wholesalers nationwide, and also operates a chain of retail warehouses for sale to the general public.
