Ian Cashmore

Ian Cashmore (born 28 May 1970 in Luton, Bedfordshire) is a British television personality specializing in paranormal phenomena.

Cashmore has been involved in investigating the paranormal since the early 1980s. More recently he has served as the presenter of the Discovery Channel's "Ghosthunters" programme, which was shown initially in the UK and Europe before being sold to worldwide networks. In 2004 he also helped pilot the US version of the show "Ghost Hunters".

Ian also co-presented Live TV's "The Why Files", originally shown in the UK and Europe, and now on re-runs on SKY TV's 'My Channel (ch.176)' four times a day at 7am, 9am, 3pm and 7pm.

Amongst his current roles he is also the paranormal expert for the Sally Jessy Raphaël radio show in the USA, and a regular contributor for the BBC in the UK, and independent television and radio. He also often doubles as a guest producer for BBC regional radio in the UK.
