Richard J. Green (* 1964 in Boston MA) is an American chemist known for his work against
Holocaust denial . He is a member ofThe Holocaust History Project Fact|date=June 2008He was raised in a in
Shaker Heights ,Ohio , a suburb ofCleveland , and he graduated in 1983 fromHawken School Fact|date=June 2008 a private preparatory day school for boys and girls. Rich Green received a BA fromSt. John's College, U.S. inSanta Fe, New Mexico Fact|date=June 2008, a "Great Books" school. He received his PhD. in physical chemistry from
Stanford University in 1997 under the guidance of ProfessorRichard N. Zare . He was apostdoc and facultyintern at theUniversity of Utah ,Salt Lake City , and went on to work for a contractor to the U.S. Government. He became known for his refutation of the Leuchter report and the Rudolf report, done together withJamie McCarthy . Besides, he issued an expert report to the court on the occasion of the Irving vs Lipstadt Trial.Publications
