Floyd Hall is an American business executive and sports team owner. Hall was the
Chief Executive Officer ofKmart from June 1995–2001. During Hall's term in office, the chain sold off several specialty businesses to focus on its core discount store business, and enjoyed a string of quarterly earnings-per-share gains. Earnings growth expanded with the remodeling of stores into the Big Kmart format, and the popularity of theMartha Stewart line of household products. He is a resident ofMontclair, New Jersey .
