Chesma (or Chesme, Cesme, from the Turkish Çeşme) refers to:

  • Chesma (mythology) in Turk mythology, fountain-spirit or nymph
  • Çeşme, a small town in Turkey.
  • Chesma Bay, near Çeşme.
  • The Battle of Chesma, in Chesma Bay in 1770.
  • The four monuments built by Catherine the Great to commemorate the Russian victory in this battle:
  1. Church of Saint John at Chesme Palace (also called Chesma Palace Church) (??)
  2. Chesma Palace in St Petersburg (1774-77)
  3. Chesma Obelisk in Gatchina (1775)
  4. Chesma Column in Tsarskoe Selo (1778)
