Geraldine Brooks (October 29, 1925 – June 19, 1977) was an American theatre, film, and television actress.

Born Geraldine Stroock in New York City, Brooks first appeared on screen in the late 1940s in films such as "Possessed" and "Challenge to Lassie". She made her Broadway debut in "The Time of the Cuckoo" in 1952, and in 1970 she was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play for "Brightower", which closed after its opening night performance.

Brooks appeared mostly on television from 1950 on. She appeared in many of the anthology series popular early in the decade, such as "Armstrong Circle Theatre", "Lux Video Theatre", and "Studio One", and guested on "Have Gun - Will Travel", "Adventures in Paradise", "Perry Mason", "The Defenders", "Dr. Kildare", "Mr. Novak", "Ben Casey", "Gunsmoke", and "Bonanza", among many others. She essayed the role of Arden Dellacorte on the daytime soap opera "Love of Life" and starred as the overweight owner of a delicatessen opposite James Coco in the short-lived sitcom "The Dumplings", her final role. She was nominated for the 1962 Emmy Award for Outstanding Single Performance by an Actress in a Leading Rolefor her appearance in the drama series "Bus Stop".

Brooks was married to writer Budd Schulberg at the time of her death from cancer at the age of 51 in Riverside, New York.
