Sherri M. Saum (born on October 1 1977 in Dayton, Ohio [http://abc.go.com/daytime/onelifetolive/bios/sherri_saum.html One Life to Live: Bios] Accessed December 12, 2007] ) is an American Daytime Emmy nominated actress. Sherri got her start at a "Model Search America" convention near her home in Kettering, Ohio. She was discovered during high school, modeling mostly during summer breaks until she decided to move to New York and work full time with the New York modeling agency Images Management. Involved in the drama club in high school, Sherri was able to recognize her true passion for acting. Her career quickly diverted from modeling to auditioning for roles in Film and Television. Her first major role in a TV series, was in the soap opera "Sunset Beach" as Vanessa Hart during the entire run of the series (1997-1999). She appeared in a variety of shows including Showtime's "Beggars and Choosers" (1999-2000), "Girlfriends" for an episode in (2000), "Charmed" in (2001), and later starred in another soap opera "One Life to Live", from 2001 to 2003, as Keri Reynolds. Sherri is currently playing the role of Natalie on the FX series "Rescue Me". And has finished shooting the Hallmark Television film "Relative Stranger" with Cicely Tyson and Eriq LaSalle. She also recently wrapped shooting on independent film "Ten Stories Tall" with Ally Sheedy and Josh Hamilton.
