Laura Day

Laura Day born on March 22, 1959, is the author of several self-help books, focusing on intuition. Day now lives in New York City.

The book "Practical Intuition", which was featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show", became a "New York Times" bestseller. In 2001, "The Circle: How the Power of a Single Wish Can Change Your Life" followed. In 2006, Day came out with "Welcome to Your Crisis: How to Use the Power of Crisis to Create the Life You Want", which launched with a book party at the restaurant Bette co-hosted by actress Uma Thurman.

Day's concept of intuition includes, in her words, "a variety of advanced intuitive skills such as telepathy and precognition." [http://www.practicalintuition.com/intuition.html]

Classes

Day has taught at the New York Open Center [http://www.opencenter.org] . In May of 2008, she lead a workshop there called 'Harnessing Your Energy and Intuition for Creating Change' which emphasized redirecting energy to help ourselves become more effective in life.

Business

Day charges companies $10,000 a month for her psychic/intuition services, where she makes herself available 24 hours a day. Some of her clients include Seagate Technology and the William Morris talent agency.
