SEPTA Regional Rail station at 311 West Springfield Avenue near the intersection of West Willow Grove and Seminole Avenues,Philadelphia, Pennsylvania . This station was known as Wissahickon Heights Station from 1883 to 1906. The station building was built in1883 , according to the Philadelphia Architects and Buildings project. The station and adjoining St Martins/St Martin's Lane take their present name from the Church of Saint Martin in the Fields, which stands a few hundred feet to the west.The station is in zone 2 on the SEPTA R8 Chestnut Hill West Line, on former Pennsylvania Railroad tracks, and is 10.9 track miles from
Suburban Station . In2004 , this station saw 215 boardings on an average weekday.The station serves numerous Chestnut Hill Academy and Springside School students daily.
The bridge that carries Willow Grove Avenue over the R8 tracks was under construction from Fall 2005 to late Summer 2006.
