Leitrim Road

Leitrim Road

Leitrim Road (Ottawa Road #14) is an east-west road in Ottawa's south end. It connects River Road in the West, passes south of the Ottawa International Airport and continues east to Russell Road. Leitrim briefly cuts off in two areas. In the western section, one must travel briefly on Limebank Road in order to rejoin Leitrim Road. Further east, one must briefly drive on Ramsayville Road before turning back on Leitrim Road.

This road is mostly a rural route, although a growing housing development in the future may give the road a more residential meaning between River Road and Limebank Road. Most of the road has two lanes and a speed-limit of 80 km/h.
