Lucia Evans, is an Irish singer and winner of the 2006 season of the talent show "
You're A Star ".Unlike the previous winners of "You're A Star", Lucia didn't get to represent
Ireland in theEurovision Song Contest . Her primary objective is to become an internationally selling musical artist, spurred on by her mentor Ruaidhrí Lennon. Lucia auditioned for the first You're A Star, back in 2002 but, judge at the time, Phil Coulter told her she couldn't sing.Lucia is now living in
Galway inIreland although originally fromBulawayo inZimbabwe . At the beginning of the 2007 she travelled back to Africa with anRTE crew to Burkina Faso in Africa to make a documentary about children in the developing world.----Discography

Don Black ,Wayne Hector andPhill Thornalley and produced byPaul Staveley O'Duffy was released onUniversal Records and entered the Irish charts on 20 April 2006 at #5. The song stayed for three weeks in the top ten.In 2007 Lucia found herself with a new Record contract with MDM Records and in June released "The Other Man" which was written by Lucia and produced by
Chris O'Brien andGraham Murphy , which peaked at #17 on the Irish charts.
