Philadelphia ,Pennsylvania to Rabbi Jehu A. Crowdy, Sr. and Sylvia W. Crowdy. He is a great-grandson of Prophet William S. Elder Crowdy's early ministerial life was spent traveling to the many tabernacles throughout America where he honed and developed his tremendous talents for preaching and teaching. In December 1997 when Rabbi Levi S. Plummer had taken ill, Rabbi Plummer named Elder Crowdy as his successor. Four months later, in April 1998, Rabbi Levi consecrated Crowdy, at the age of 28, to the office of Rabbi. Soon after, Rabbi Crowdy continued to extensively travel to herald the gospel throughout the country.
On November 18, 2001, Rabbi Jehu A. Crowdy, Jr. assumed the mantle of leadership at the demise of his spiritual mentor and friend Rabbi Plummer.
